My name is Sanya Wolstenholme. I am going into my 27th year of teaching! I have taught in private school (Pre-K), The School District of Philadelphia (K), Saint Vincent-Tacony (K-12th gr), Saint Timothy(Pre-K to 8th substituting), and Good Shepherd (Pre-K). I have been the Art teacher, Pre-K 4 Teacher, and Kindergarten teacher here at Blessed Trinity. I am so excited to be teaching Kindergarten again this year!
I attended Saint Dominic’s for grade school and graduated from Saint Hubert Catholic High School for Girls. I received my Bachelor’s Degree from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland and my Masters Degree in Education in 2009 from Cabrini College. I have continuously taken classes to keep my teaching certificate active as well.
I will be married 25 years this November to a “Judge boy” and we have two beautiful daughters. My oldest, Mackenzie, graduated in the 1st graduating class of Blessed Trinity Regional Catholic School and graduated from Saint Hubert in 2017. She will be a Senior at York College of Pennsylvania, she is studying Forensics Chemistry and has been on the Dean's List every semester with a 4.0 last semester. She is also engaged to Dan, who I am proud to say, is a great kid and a United States Marine. A June 2022 wedding is in the works. My younger daughter, Tori, graduated from Blessed Trinity in 2016. She graduated (during the Pandemic) from St.Hubert in June. She was the President of Student Council, graduated with honors, and was on the National Honor Society. She will be attending Holy Family University this August! We also have an adorable puppy named Kona!!
I am very excited to a Blessed Trinity faculty member. Saint Timothy’s is my parish and my home away from home. I cannot wait to teach your children!! I truly love teaching (any age, but 4 and 5’s there is something special about) and cannot imagine doing anything else-even through the Pandemic! If you have any questions or concerns during the school year, please contact me at swolstenholme@btrcs.org.
